A Climate Action and Equity Plan for New Haven County

Impact 2045 aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in New Haven County while promoting environmental justice and improving the quality of life for all residents.

What’s Impact 2045?

Impact 2045 is a partnership between the Master of Regional Planning (MRP) program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the South Central Regional Council of Governments (SCRCOG), in collaboration with the UMass Amherst Department of Civil Engineering program and the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG). The project's core purpose is to create an ambitious plan for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the region, focusing on the needs and insights of low-income and disadvantaged communities.
